We're nearly there, folks. After a very intense episode 8, the finale of The Last of Us Season 1 is now less than a week away.

Unsurprisingly the trailer above doesn't let slip too many clues, aside from shots of Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) being ambushed by some kind of grenade, a shot of Joel stalking along a corridor firing his rifle, and a shot of a pregnant woman (played by Ashley Johnson, the original actor for Ellie in the games) being attacked by an Infected.

Yup, this is going to be tense.

The Last of Us is now streaming on HBO Max. New episodes air every Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
